When Alice dreams 坠入仙境的爱丽丝
This music was inspired by Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll in 1865. The piece is in three movements.
The first movement When moonlight falls in the forest is intended to express the curiosity, hesitations, and even fear one might have experienced at the start of this adventure. Microtone technics are used to emphasise the uncertainties and emotional insecurity.
The second movement If I lose my temper, you lose your head explores, with humor, complex reactions of both determination and unwillingness in the face of an unreasonable challenge. It makes use of combinations of several different scale types.
The third movement When stardust slips into the ocean is focused not on the adventure itself but rather on the time after an adventurous experience, as memories are recollected while watching the stars gradually move towards the horizon around the celestial pole.
